The AD/DA is pristine and clean. Never heard a better sounding interface. A was looking for a new interface with some dsp options to record with some eq+compression without any latency. Maybe the UAD was something for me, but found out that apogee has a better option: the plugins that work at the dsp of your interface can be edited within your daw instead of having to applications.
And even better: you can edit these plugins also on the touchscreen of your interface!

You get what you pay for

It's not cheap but in this case I think you get what you pay for. There are lots of reviews expounding on the great tech specs so I'll just mention a few things that I like. Two independent headphone outs - awesome. The Symphony ECS Channel Strip sounds great. The unit is not too big and I'll be taking it with me for mobile recording. Although subjective, I think it sounds great. To my ear it's cleaner than my Apogee ONE. I would have liked the touch screen to be higher resolution but that's not a huge deal. The only only other -ve is that it's software has not (at the time of my purchase) been fully implemented but it's promised to be soon. I'm happy with the purchase and now I have an interface worthy of my AKG 414XLS.
