Great for the money
Ste Keloid 23.03.2020
This stand is very well made, and is very sturdy.

The only thing is that when using heavier cymbals, the spring does struggle a little. Hardly noticeable though.

Served me well for many gigs and never let me down.

OK
One of the best Hi-hat racks!
Oleg Komarov 27.07.2023
For over 30 years I've played different hi-hat stands from different brands. This stance pleasantly surprised me with its ease when playing eighth notes, finally I was able to play as easily with my left foot as the legendary drummers did in the 1960s and 1970s. As it turned out, not only the feet and skill of the drummer are important, but also the convenience of the stand, which allows you to play easily and naturally. Recommend to all drummers who are looking for a light, inexpensive and reliable hi-hat stand

Sturdy and reliable - Tama for the win!
Chad 14.05.2023
After having decided on a new Tama kit, I needed to replace an old Peavey hi-hat stand as the pedal didn't swivel as needed. Decided on the Tama stand and haven't looked back. Sturdy and durable, I have had no issues and am very satisfied with the build quality.

I like it

Cheap and solid stand. Comes with nice clutch. I don't find it quick and responsive enough as I use my left foot a lot. But I use quite heavy Paiste Twenty cymbals as well.
The paint on the foot platform started coming off pretty soon, but mostly is still holding.
For a mid-weight stand it's pretty stable, although you HAVE to use a drum rag if you're playing jazz like me and use your left foot a lot.
