As a teacher, my students look to me for advice on strings and as students, budget is important. So I recommend these strings generally for their tone and value however of late the quality forced me to stop recommending them. The last year or so they have been appalling. The 4th string is too short and barely reaches, the 5th&6th are breaking at the bridge within 4-6 weeks after fitting. If this was 1 guitar I'd check the guitar for fault but it is over 8--10 guitars in exactly the same spot. I have emailed Augustine and been ignored and I have also informed Thomas of this problem without much success, my advice is to avoid these strings completely...
