They even come powdered with chalk
Cheeseman 23.08.2018
When the picks arrived, they were powdered with chalk, which makes them more resistant to wearing for at least a short while.
The material is robust and thick, making it ideal for lead and chugging the low strings because you don't want to get stuck on your strings now do you? If you're a blues player or like those smooth classic rock licks, this pick might not be for you, as the Ultex gives it a very harsh attack that is desired in Rock and Metal, but might not be suited for mellower guitarparts.

Pro's:
- Sturdy, protected with chalk and very comfortable to hold
- Harsh and fast attack, with a solid high frequency bite to it.
- The thickness makes it very unlikely to get stuck

Cons:
- Not very suitable for mellower pieces of music
- If you're a hard strummer and you're not used to the picks yet you might end up rattling the strings or slapping it out of your own hand.

A
Stiff picks. Good grip and last a long time.
Anoniem 05.10.2015
These are stiffer than the red or black Jazz III pickups and seem to sound a bit brighter and slide over the strings faster. If you like the added stiffness or not depends on personal preference, but I notice that I tend to use stiffer and thicker picks when I use thicker strings for down tuning. The picks have some sort of powder on them which increases grip, but wears off after a while. These picks last super long though (longer than the black or red Jazz III?s), so after a while the grip fades as the powder disappears. Even then, the grip is still slightly better than with the regular black or red Jazz IIIs. If you drop these they can be a bit harder to find because they are translucent.

Great pick if you like fast attack and stiffness, but it has its disadvantages.
