USE - transport Gretsch Catalina kit and cymbals. jazz kit to be taken each Sunday night to play at late night jazz club. It is very secure and strong with good handles. To drag using wheels is hard as it tends to career around a bit and tip up as would any container this shape without an extended handle.
Can get the kick, kick pedals, snare, tom, cymbals, cymbal arm, hihat and snare stand along with drum mat in case with cymbal bag at the top of the case. Mat acts as protection here. Snare and tom fit inside bass. - Very good for packing up.
PROS CONS. You have to get hardware that folds or breaks down small - hihat cymbal and use cymbal arm for ride.
HIgh(ish) price and if you walk any distance with it get a portable foldaway trolley and elastics. Pulling this through streets over 100m at night not a good idea and would break the wheels quickly. However - short distance OK and can carry for short distance from taxis or vans to venues.
