As strong as Hercules
Anoniem 25.07.2016
Bought this for my classical guitar, which does have quite a large body, but a shorter scale neck.
I've got a myriad of Hercules Stands, as I've always trusted them above all others to be rock-steady for my guitars. They're built well, with high quality fixings, and there is nothing to complain about the quality of the products.
The design is perfectly fine for acoustic and classical instruments. My classical guitar isn't too expensive, and it supports it absolutely fine. I'm not convinced I would trust it to hold my more expensive electric guitars, nor an acoustic with a longer neck.
I wouldn't say this is a good idea if you have children or pets running around your house either; if the guitar is knocked it will fall off this stand!! If you're guitar is your pride and joy, I would certainly recommend going for the Hercules Stands, with a locking neck support. Same really goes if you're gigging alot, and there's going to be alot of people walking past the guitar around the stage.
However, it really does what it says on the tin - a small guitar stand, which has the benefits of being able to stick in a gigbag, which doesn't cost the earth either. Overall worth buying, but maybe for cheaper instruments, as a travel companion, or a backup for another stand.

Amazing quality and design

Everything hercules does does it well.
This stand is the perfect height to handle the guitar even with a jack still in.
The padding is soft and the stand is light.
Really recommended

A well designed guitar stand
Minh V. 14.07.2015
I wanted a something small and neat that was easily portable to take with my guitar to places so I didn't have to keep leaning the instrument against a chair/wall/small child. This guitar stand fits the bill as it's very light and folds flat so can just be slipped inside the gig bag.
The stand is very sturdy of a high quality. It holds the guitar very stable and is great value for money.

Well built stand spoiled by poor design
Thomas34 29.08.2015
This is a stand well built from quality materials, let down by a simple design fault. The back support on the stand is not nearly high enough, causing the guitar to lean back into a semi reclining position, leading to stability problems. A simple design change could make this an excellent stand.
