Als we het hebben over fantastische budget items, dan zijn de PST7 en PST8 de beste. Na veel tijd te hebben gespendeerd in de Paiste Soundroom (van hun website) en luisteren op Thomann kwam uit op een set van 2002 en Signatures die ik wilde als einddoel. Inmiddels heb ik dat einddoel aangepast, en dat was niet om budget redenen. Deze crash samen met de PST 8 Medium hi-hat shinen inmiddels samen met een 900 CS BK 22" ride en Signature Precision 20" Heavy Crash.
Deze crash is explosief en heeft een mooi helder geluid. Hij doet zeker niet onder aan de 2002 en is naar mijn mening zelfs beter door zijn net iets andere decay en klank. De crash past er in mijn set perfect tussen!

In my opinion, the PST7s are in a league of their own when it comes to Paiste's entry level cymbal lines. The 18" crash feels great to play and is surprisingly dynamic. The tone is bright, rich, and very nice, even though it is perhaps worth mentioning that some of the high frequencies might be a bit problematic in small rooms (though in my experience, the same goes for the more expensive Paiste B8 cymbals too). Nevertheless, this is a great sounding and well made cymbal.

Paiste PST7 Crash is great

The Paiste PST7 18" Crash cymbal is a great stage or even studio level cymbal. I find both projection and decay are great with this crash. I would highly recommend the PST7 line if you're a Paiste fan and in the market to maybe upgrade but don't want, or can't get the higher Paiste lines like Signature or Twenty. PST7 is a great alternative, I'm very happy with this crash and also with the PST7 heavy Hi Hats I purchased from Thomann also. The only negative I could give this crash would be a very small one, I know, but a negative for some I'm sure, the bell on this crash is not the best. Overall a great cymbal, very impressive for the price, great Paiste standard.
