The 3Dvarius was born in Laurent Bernadac's mind, French engineer and violinist, who conceived it. He wanted to create an electric violin which could fulfil all the needs of a musician, including his own needs.

Three years of study and experimentation were indispensable to obtain the final prototype.

Joined by Géraldine Puel, specialist of new technologies and music enthusiast, the 3Dvarius project was really born in 2016 by a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. This success launched the production of the first unique 3Dvarius.

In 2018, they launched a new range of electric violins: the LINE and the EQUINOX. They are destinated to violinists who would experiment electric music and violins.

Based in Toulouse, the young company counts on the 'Made in France' expertise, a guarantee of quality in stringed instrument making. They select their partners according to very precise technical specifications and give priority to the quality of the produced electric violins.

During NAMM 2018 they will present the:

  • The 3Dvarius 5
  • The Line
  • The Equinox
