BREAKING: Swedish DJ Avicii Dead at the age of 28

The Swedish-born producer and DJ known as Avicii has been found dead in Oman.

Publicist Diana Baron said in a statement that the 28-year-old DJ, born Tim Bergling, was in Muscat, Oman.

They said: “It is with great sorrow that we must announce that Tim Bergling, known as the artist Avicii, is dead. He was in Muscat, Oman and was found dead during Friday afternoon local time. 

“The family is crushed and we ask you to show consideration and leave them alone in this difficult time.

“No more statements will be made.”
