On the 15th of February, Armin van Buuren had his 800th edition of his famous A State of Trance radio. This was definitely one of the highlights over the past few years. We, from Inside Audio, had the honour to witness this amazing event.

Date: Saturday February, 18th.
A State of Trance has always taken pride in the quality of their production. Upon entering the main room it was clear that they put a lot of effort in this production. The quality of the sound was phenomenal. There were big led-screens, no holding back on CO2 emission. The fans also had the opportunity to see the radio-dome of Armin; live and on the screens at the main stage. Furthermore, a cashless payment system was used to avoid hassle for the audience.
It’s amazing to see the growth of popularity of the underground genres as they are now being appreciated by the public and in turn are given their own stages. In this edition PSY Trance had the honour to have been given its own stage. In addition to this The Who’s Afraid of 138 got a bigger audience than in the previous years. This is a clear testament to the growth of the popularity of this genre.
Our personal highlights of the evening were Bryan Keaney and Ben Nicky. The mainstage looked fabulous and there was even some space for PSY trance artists, such as Vini Vici, who was given the second last spot on the time table. Last but not least was the vinyl closing set by Armin Van Buuren!
An unforgettable night! As Armin’s anthem for ASOT 800: I Live For The Night. Special thanks to the Alda Events Crew for making this a night to remember. This gave us a true understanding why Trance fans from all over the world traveled to Utrecht for this amazing event. Trance is love.
